These pages deal with the different aspects of migration and mobility in Finnish society, both back in history and in the present times as well. We started the project by choosing a theme from a list of possible issues. Then we concentrated on finding some facts. We used both books and the Internet. Then we compiled a short essay based on the information we had found and translated it into English. We worked in pairs or in groups of three. What we found difficult was sorting out the relevant information from the huge amount of existing information. We also noticed that meaningful use of time is not always so easy.
